Hi I have had my parquet floor lifted, the parquet floor in places was rotten. We have had a bitumen compound painted on to the floor, it has now been 10 days and the bitumen is still tacky. So can not lay the new concrete floor, can anyone tell me what is causing the bitumen not to dry, also want can I do to correct this. Aluminum coatings do not perform well on roofs that pond water. Dirt can accumulate in depressions and inhibit the reflectance of the coating. If an aluminum coating is under water for a prolonged period of time, the water may work its way under the coating causing it to peel. Positive drainage is needed to flush away surface dirt and retain the reflective properties of the aluminum coating.
